The solar decathlon is a biennial competition that opens to the universities and institutions for an opportunity to challenge “Design and build in a solar house that is energy independent. The aim of the contest is to design and build a home entirely powered by solar energy.

The main mission of our project “UR-BAAN” is to revitalize old building stocks, adding back value to the degenerated and under-utilized architecture that no longer meets the needs of the current generation due to the Thai urban context that has been transformed.
